Republican Scott Brown and his supporters greeted the Billionaires for Brown with cheers and a few shoves on the last days of the Massachusetts Senate campaign. After joining Scott in Worcester on Sunday, the Billionaires helped him greet the hoi polloi at the Boston Garden and rally his rabble in the Boston suburbs.
Videos after the break.
Of course, all is fair in class war, and Scott’s supporters couldn’t resist getting a little physical with the Billionaires. The small contingent of super-elites had their signs ripped away, elbows tossed, and none-too-vague threats made against their wellbeing.
This include 2 sign snatchings to great cheers in North Andover, where Brown-ers also used sign pickets and flag poles to intimidate and provoke Billionaires. At Littleton, Brown supporters tailed the Billionaires making threats of different kinds, including to follow us home after the rally to 'set us straight'. At all stops, Billionaires were subject to elbowing and aggressive attempts to impede movement around the campaign.
But, when you own the candidate, you don’t let the hired help get you down, and the Billionaires celebrated Brown’s love for big banks by celebrating with the finest champagne and imported tea(baggers). Scott warmly greeted the Billionaires, despite his supporter’s distress towards his big-bank connections.
The Billionaires and their affiliates in the insurance and banking industries look forward to a long, enriching relationship with Scott. Forward the status quo!
